Last Thursday, Kane and I were in Edmonton for an appointment with his cardiologist followed by our first pacemaker clinic. Turns out the electrophysiologist (pacemaker doc) involved with our case is actually our new neighbour in Canmore…just another interesting coincidence!
Three weeks post surgery and things with Kane’s heart are looking good and we are now switching all of our cardiology care to the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary so that we are closer to home.
Following Kane’s appointments at the Stollery Children’s Hospital we had a big surprise planned for Iron Kane…
Coincidentally, Iron Man was in Edmonton on the same day!

Alan Nursall and his marketing team at Telus World of Science also invited us to attend the preview party for the Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes exhibit on Friday afternoon. Harrison even managed to get Maverick up to Edmonton to take part in the surprise!
The boys and dad loved hanging out with superheroes!
