Personal Project: Back to Reality

Kane and I were at the Alberta Children’s Hospital this week for his dental surgery. His surgery was cancelled in April due to COVID, but because of his heart issues he was a high priority.

It felt a bit strange to be there because of the fact that every one of Kane’s other five surgeries having been at the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton.

I’m all out of words right now, but images help me process. So here’s a little visual story…

Kane’s doing really well. Not so impressed with all the hardware in his mouth, but he’s not in any pain.

He also took a couple photos to add to our Together diptych project.
